After a three-year Corona break, we are looking forward to starting again and making many great racing cars of the past a little bit better with our wheels!
The former British brand Berazzi, renowned for the manufacture of wheels for historic and classic racing cars of the 60s and 70s, is now a subsidiary of Maxilite AG and enriches the product range in the racing sector.
The bespoke Berazzi wheels are made of magnesium, which makes them particularly light and therefore perfect for racing. They are ideal for formula and other racing cars from manufacturers such as Chevron, Lola, March and Brabham. Their construction offers a flexible and cost-effective solution for the individual requirements of each car and allows us to cover a wide range of bolt circles and widths.
ABOUT MAXILITE - WHERE WE COME FROM
The Maxilite success story began in Switzerland in 2008: Even after a long search, we couldn't find the right wheels for our "old ladies". The retro wheels from Italy and Great Britain that were available on the market were beautiful, but they could not fully meet our requirements and were also not TÜV-certified and therefore not eligible for registration. The decision was made: to produce our own retro wheels according to the German quality standard, TÜV-certified and thus registrable, which still authentically pick up on and reproduce the spirit, the finish and the style of the originals.
Walking through our warehouse with 25,000 wheels on stock it´s hard to imagine that it started with a handful of models. Today Maxilite overs a wide range of 250 different wheels of steel and aluminum for the most diverse makes and models of vehicles from 1950-2000 that is growing every year.
